Vintage Vendor Vehicles: Doing Business in Florida from Classic Campers and Restored VWs

Last Updated on April 24, 2022 by Marybeth

Call them Caravan Kiosks, Truckpreneurs, Boutiques on Wheels, Pop-Up Shops, Photo Booth Buses; whatever the term, you’ve noticed more and more of them – yes, popping up – at Florida festivals, fairs, First Fridays, farmer’s markets, weddings, birthdays, charity events, and at food truck rallies. What makes them unique, besides the hard working team bringing you the goods and services, are the swoon-worthy fixed up classic and vintage vehicles packed with the fun stuff.

What is it about them that makes our heads turn and our hearts squeeze with longing? They’re old and cute! Someone gave that junker new life! Your grandmother (your dad, YOU) used to drive one of those! That was the camper your Great Aunt Beulah drove, solo, to the Smokies after Great Uncle Boudreaux trotted off this merry earth. And all of these brought-back-to-life vehicles have a storied past, and usually an adorable name.

Beyond food trucks (we’ll talk about those well-deserving hard working folks another day) we’ve rounded up quite a list of roving vendor vehicles all over our state for your next event or that festival you’ll want to mark down on your calendar.

Important note:  Some vendors are able to travel beyond the counties listed and may require a travel fee, and not all vendors travel to each county we have listed for each territory: contact any you are interested in to get specific travel details.

Vehicle vendors are listed by region, alphabetically.
