We’re always telling you to stay/eat/drink at independently owned businesses. Those hard working people who are just like us (not that the ritzy hotel chains don’t employ hard working people just like us… but big corporations just aren’t in our wheelhouse.)
Today with the holidays approaching faster than the pounds have piled on after multiple Thanksgiving meals (including, yes, just this morning: turkey, stuffing and macaroni and cheese for breakfast) we’re recommending some of our favorite Florida businesses for you to spend your time perusing, purchasing, and following on social media.
And if there are one or two who aren’t officially Florida-based, we just love them for their tropical and nautical vibe.

What locally owned businesses are you buying gifts from this year? And how many purchases are for others and how many are for you?
We are not compensated in any way for reviewing and recommending any products or businesses, we just really like this stuff!
