Once again we’re here to help solve your “But what about Bruiser?” and “We can’t leave Precious at home!” angst. Luckily for all of us dog lovers there are locally owned, family/dog friendly beaches, bars and bungalows (or mom-and-pops, and B & B’s.) Read on for all these lovely places that welcome your fur babies on Florida’s Atlantic coast, from Fort Pierce to Stuart.

- Right across the street from the ocean with a friendly, honky-tonk biker vibe. You’ve got to love a biker bar that also hosts church every Sunday morning from 9 – 10 a.m.
- Happy Hour is Monday through Friday 3 – 6 p.m., live music almost every night: click their name to visit their site and calendar. Hours are Monday through Sunday 8 a.m. – 12 midnight.

- We were able to find out very little about Stuart Beach, but on two websites it is listed as pet friendly, on-leash. Any additional info you may have would be appreciated, as we have not visited this beach in person, with Gizmo (above), yet!

Fort Pierce, on Florida’s Atlantic coast, is 15 miles south of Vero Beach. Jensen Beach is 14 miles south of Fort Pierce, and Stuart is 6 miles south of Jensen Beach.
